The Biggest Heavyweight Fight in UFC history…UFC 116!
Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin. The hype has been huge. Two weeks ago the odds had Lesnar ahead. Now it almost a pick’em fight.
At the Open workout Brock Lesnar worked out very little. He threw a couple punches to a fight partner and went to the mic for media interviews. Carwin on the other hand put on a good little workout show for the fans.
This may shock you! Listen to what a few fight fans had to say about who they thought was going to win the biggest heavyweight fight in UFC history. Lesnar or Carwin… Personally, I’d like to see Carwin win!

UFC 116 Open Workout – 6-30-2010
This is the first UFC event I have covered. Today UFC 116 held an open workouts in the Marquee Ballroom at the MGM Grand Conference Center on in Las Vegas.
The event started at 12 noon and went till about 2pm.
The following fighters were featured during this light workout:
Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Chris Leben, Krzysztof Soszynski, Stephan Bonnar.
Chris Leben started the workout. He worked up a pretty good sweat as did most of the other fighters. Lesnar was the big draw, never even broke a sweat during todays open workout. He worked on the mat for about 3 minutes and went to the media box for questions.

The UFC 116 is Saturday Night July 3, 2010 at the MGM Grand at 7 PM.

Lesnar Wins…Beats Randy Couture at UFC 91 for Title

Brock Lesnar beat Randy Couture for the UFC 91 Heavyweight Title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday night. Lesnar with a record of (3-1) scored a TKO over UFC Hall of Famer Randy “The Natural” Couture (16-9) at 3:07 of the second round.
What does this mean to MMA and specifically the UFC? Who knows?
Personally I was sad for Randy Couture. I really wanted him to win. Rematch???
You never know. Randy has done so much for the sport. He will always be known as
the champ…
