Rising MMA Star Ryan Couture Comes From MMA Royalty, But Is His Own Man…
Ryan is the son of Former UFC Champion and Legend Randy “The Natural” Couture.
Like many other mma competitors today, Ryan wrestled in high school and took 3rd in the Washington State Championships.
Soon after, Ryan found himself following in dad’s footsteps and started competing as an amatuer mma fighter with promtions like “Barry Meyer’s Famous Future Stars of MMA called TUFF-N-UFF.
Then in 2010 Ryan made his PRO debut and WON his first fight with the Strikeforce promotion by triangle choke. Since then Ryan, has competed in the UFC and now with Bellator MMA.

Randy Couture Talks MMA, Acting, and Sylvester Stallone
Randy “TheNatural” Couture is a Retired Mixed Martial Arts World Champion Legend, Movie Star and Businessman. We Talked About MMA, Acting and Sylvester Stallone.
I first met Randy Couture in 2011,as I was a camera man on a TV shoot about “Success”. They were interviewing Randy, and someone from the audience asked; “Mr. Couture, do you ever get made or angry while you are fighting in there cage?” Randy Responded; ” Fighting as a Mixed Martial Artist is like chess, physical chess. I make a move and then the other guy makes a move. The minute one gets angry, they’ve lost!”
I never forgot that statement. Since then, I have seen Randy at numerous events and specially amateur MMA events like TUFF- N-UFF. And when he walks into the arena, you can feel the excitement, he is a ROCK STAR! The crowd love him! And the fighter are inspired by him. He is ALWAYS ready to let a fan get a quick photo.

Lesnar Wins…Beats Randy Couture at UFC 91 for Title
by Robby LeBlanc…
Brock Lesnar beat Randy Couture for the UFC 91 Heavyweight Title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada Saturday night. Lesnar with a record of (3-1) scored a TKO over UFC Hall of Famer Randy “The Natural” Couture (16-9) at 3:07 of the second round.
What does this mean to MMA and specifically the UFC? Who knows?
Personally I was sad for Randy Couture. I really wanted him to win. Rematch???
You never know. Randy has done so much for the sport. He will always be known as
the champ…

Randy Couture To Fight in UFC November 15

Randy Couture is on for UFC 91 on November 15, 2008.
Randy Couture returns to the Octagon at UFC 91 on
November 15th in Las Vegas to fight Brock Lesnar.
This is a 5 Round championship bout.
It was no secret that Randy and UFC Pressident
Dana White were not getting along this past year.
Thus, Randy didn’t fight for UFC in almost a year.
Well in early September 2008 UFC President Dana White
announced that Randy was going to fight again the the UFC.
As a side note, I had the opportunity to meet Randy Couture
a few months ago and I found him to be a great guy and an
inspiration to everyone that was present at that private
event.
