Las Vegas’s very own guitar virtuoso, Robby LeBlanc, aka “Rock N Santa”, will perform The Star- Spangled Banner on July 15, 2023 in San Diego, at The Harley Davidson Event Center, before the Valkyrie Fighting Championship.

The timing of this gig, July 15th is unique. People actually do celebrate Christmas in July, which usually falls on July 12 or July 25th. What I have seen is, people tend to celebrate it on those weekends. July 15th falls on a Saturday and Sunday July 16th. And, Saturday July 22nd And Sunday 23rd. So July 15 is actually the beginning of Christmas in July week for 2023! And Yes, “Rock N Santa” will be in his suit!

I’m working on getting another Star Spangle Banner gig booked for Sunday, July 16.

Then on the following weekend, Saturday July 22, I will be doing an event as Santa, Rock N Santa, at Chilly Jillyz in Boulder City, and its bring your dog day to get a photo with Santa for your Christmas Cards!

More to come…until then…

Keep Dreaming, Robby LeBlanc aka “Rock N Santa”

The Oakland A’s Are Coming To Las Vegas

There’s been chatter for months about the possibility of The Oakland A’s MLB team moving to Las Vegas. The word on the street is, The Oakland A’s and Bally’s Corp. have recently put an agreement in place. Not everyone is happy about the A’s taking over the Tropicana Hotel location! It’s such an iconic location, some people are just hating the idea or possibility.

Personally, I think it’s great! I think it will be great for the city. I think it will bring more tourism, because people just want to see what they are doing with that location. The Tropicana Hotel opened April 4, 1957. That’s over 66 years of tourists, so iconic. There are generations of Tropicana Hotel visitors! Those young kids now dads, bring their kids.

If they implode the Tropicana and actually rebuild a world Class Sporting Event Center, I think it will be awesome for our city and future tourist.

Here are a few bullet points from what I can gather:
* Oakland A’s and Bally’s Corp. form partnership
* $1.5 billion stadium project in Las Vegas.
* State-of-the-art retractable roof stadium with 35,000 seats.

Once again Las Vegas sports and entertainment solidifying Las Vegas as premier destination.

I moved here in 1998, and in a million years, because of gambling, I never thought they could bring a pro sports team franchise here. Though I remember Mayor Oscar Goodman trying to work his magic.
Looks like times are changing. We’ve got the UFC, The Raiders, Aces, Golden Knights! It only makes sense that we finally get a Pro Baseball Team!

Looking forward to seeing how things progress.
Stay Hungry, Robby LeBlanc
