Las Vegas’s very own guitar virtuoso, Robby LeBlanc, aka “Rock N Santa”, will perform The Star- Spangled Banner on July 15, 2023 in San Diego, at The Harley Davidson Event Center, before the Valkyrie Fighting Championship.

The timing of this gig, July 15th is unique. People actually do celebrate Christmas in July, which usually falls on July 12 or July 25th. What I have seen is, people tend to celebrate it on those weekends. July 15th falls on a Saturday and Sunday July 16th. And, Saturday July 22nd And Sunday 23rd. So July 15 is actually the beginning of Christmas in July week for 2023! And Yes, “Rock N Santa” will be in his suit!

I’m working on getting another Star Spangle Banner gig booked for Sunday, July 16.

Then on the following weekend, Saturday July 22, I will be doing an event as Santa, Rock N Santa, at Chilly Jillyz in Boulder City, and its bring your dog day to get a photo with Santa for your Christmas Cards!

More to come…until then…

Keep Dreaming, Robby LeBlanc aka “Rock N Santa”

Hip Hop Star FLO RIDA and Robby LeBlanc from LasVegasNewsBlog.comVintage Rockefeller Wine & Spirits Group Hosted a Unique Meet and Greet With Hip-Hop Superstar FLO RIDA.

The meet and greet, Wednesday April 20, 2016 was at this year’s Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) 2016 convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.  FLO RIDA is Global Brand Ambassador of Empire Rockefeller Vodka.

A few weeks ago I got a call from a friend , David Gersh and he asked if I was available to shoot some photos for an event he was producing with FLO RIDA. To be honest, I didn’t know who FLO was, because I don’t listen to much Hip-Hop and Rap, I’m more of a Classical, Jazz and Pop guy. Then his it hit me, his name, FLO RIDA = Florida! Boom!

As I researched FLO, the first song I came upon was “I Don’t Like It, I LOVE It” which included Robin Thicke and Earth Wind and Fire’s Verdine White. As I listened, I didn’t like it, I LOVE IT!

Below is a video from the photos and video clips I took from the days activities. The day started at Caesars Palace and ended upon a party at Señor Frogs Las Vegas, inside Treasure Island.

Motorhead at House of Blues“We are Motörhead,” said frontman Lemmy Kilmister “and we play ROCK and ROLL”!

by Christian Wloszczyna

Motorhead, the hard rock band took the stage last Friday night at the House of Blues in Las Vegas for the second date of their 40th anniversary tour.

No other words were needed as Motörhead wasted no time in diving right into ‘Damage Case’ and ‘Stay Clean’ with the ferocity and volume that has become their trademark almost as much as Lemmy’s distinctive gravelly voice.

The band stuck to early classics for most of the setlist, with just one of the 14 tracks they played having been recorded in the last decade, playing “Lost Woman Blues” off of 2013’s Aftershock. Read more

Great Concert By Former Oasis Lead Guitarist Noel Gallagher at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas!

Gallagher’s Concert was just in time for  Las Vegas to kick off it’s Memorial Day party weekend!

Gallagher’s new outfit, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds played an even mix of songs off of their recently released album Chasing Yesterday and their 2011 eponymous debut, along with a few classic tunes from Gallagher’s Oasis catalog.Musician Noel Gallagher - Photo by Christian Wloszczyna

Backed by a 3-piece horn section, The High Flying Birds ripped through a 20 song set that had the crowd standing and singing along to both the new songs and old fan favorites as soon as the first guitar chords rang out. Gallagher along with High Flying Birds Tim Smith (guitar) Russell Pritchard (bass) Jeremy  Stacey (drums) and former Oasis collaborator Mike Rowe (keyboards) put on a stage show that is without pyrotechnics or over-the-top visuals, leaving the focus squarely where it should be: on the songs themselves.  New songs from Gallagher ‘Do The Damage’ and ‘In The Heat Of The Moment’ blended in easily with mid-tempo versions of Oasis classics ‘Fade Away’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’ proving that two decades in, Gallagher’s knack for songwriting is still intact.

Also on display was Gallagher’s entertaining brand of English wit, equal parts of hilarity and bite.  Gallagher poked fun at crowd members, flatly ignored calls for brother and former Oasis frontman Liam and chided audience members who called for him to play ‘Slide Away’ reminding them that “this isn’t an Oasis gig” before ripping into ‘Digsy’s Dinner’  off of Oasis 1994 debut ‘Definitely Maybe’.

The High Flying Birds finished their set with rocking, straightforward versions of ‘If I Had A Gun’ ‘The Masterplan’ and ‘AKA..What A Life’ before launching into show closer ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ prompting a massive sing-a-long that wouldn’t have been out of place at an English soccer match, again proving Gallagher’s mark on the music world will always be about the songs themselves.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Set List:
Do The Damage
Stranded On The Wrong Beach
Everybody’s On The Run
Fade Away
In The Heat Of The Moment
Lock All The Doors
Riverman
The Death Of You And Me
You Know We Can’t Go Back
Champagne Supernova
The Ballad Of Might I
Dream On
The Dying Of The Light
The Mexican
AKA…Broken Arrow
Digsy’s Dinner
If I Had A Gun
The Masterplan
AKA…What A Life
Don’t Look Back In Anger

Rock On!
