Master Referee Extra-Ordinare Marc Goddard talks about the role of the referee, specifically at the amateur levels. Yes, at times amateur fighters feel they got cheated because of an early stoppage. However, as Marc Goddard explains, at the amateur level of competition, it’s all about fighter safety.

The International Mixed Martial Arts World Championships Start July 6th
The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation World Championships, IMMAF Begin on Monday July 6, 2015.
The IMMAF 2015 are just around the corner. They start on Monday July 6th at the Flamingo Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, thru July 9th. The IMMAF is off Friday July 10th. Then, the IMMAF FINALS are on July 11th at and during UFC Fan Expo.
Presently there are 28 countries that will be competing in this World Championship event.
