TUFF-N-UFF Packed The Mack!
TUFF-N-UFF MMA Celebrated Their 20th Anniversary June 25, 2016 At The Thomas And Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The theme was “PACK THE MACK” to honor the co-founder, the late Barry Meyer, and pack the mack we did! I’m not sure of the numbers but I’m sure it was close to 15,000 or more attendees. I have been covering TUFF-N-UFF since 2010. For me, this was the most exciting TUFF-N-UFF fight card I have ever seen.
The night included KNOCKOUTS, Submissions, and VERY close Decisions! The fight announcers were UFC Champions Frank Mir and Forrest Griffin. It was a STAR studded night with ringside attendees which included UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, UFC Champ Miesha Tate, UFC’s Heather Clark, WSOF President Ray Sefo, Master MMA Coach Robert Follis and not to mention a number of the cast member from the present Ultimate Fighter TV show.

This is a big event because TUFF-N-UFF are not only putting on the event to honor the TUFF-N-UFF Founder Barry Meyer, who passed away in 2013, but also to bring light and awareness to DEPRESSION and American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. Barry lost his battle with Depression in 2013 and Jeff Meyer is now carrying the torch to honor his brothers memory.

“Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” Honors Founder Barry Meyer on June 27 With Annual “Pack the Mack” FREE Fight Card
PRESS RELEASE: Event set to benefit American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
LAS VEGAS – “Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” will once again look to “Pack the Mack,” as mixed martial arts’ premier amateur organization takes over Las Vegas’ Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday, June 27, for a completely free night of high-paced action featuring a full roster of the brightest prospects in MMA.
The annual event will honor the legacy of Tuff-N-Uff founder Barry Meyer, who in 2013 lost his battle with depression. With his memory in mind, Tuff-N-Uff has partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and will raise funds for the organization at the “Pack the Mack” event, while also hoping to increase awareness of the AFSP’s fight against suicide.
“Anyone who has ever attended a Tuff-N-Uff event knows how much Barry meant to not only this promotion, but also the lives of each and every person who ever competed in our cage,” Tuff-N-UFF CEO – and Barry’s brother – Jeff Meyer said. “On average, one person dies by suicide every 16 hours in the state of Nevada. We’re committed to supporting the AFSP’s life-saving work, and we hope this incredible annual event can be a flagship component of our efforts.” Read more
