Las Vegas, Nev. City of Las Vegas Firefighters offered cuts in their compensation package that were worth more than $7.3 million to the taxpayers of Las Vegas. City Manager Betsy Fretwell, who was the authorized negotiating agent for the city, accepted the agreement wholeheartedly, but city officials simply reneged on the agreement.
