A state psychiatric hospital in Las Vegas has been fined for not protecting a female patient who reported she was raped by a male patient in November. The $1,000 fine by the state Bureau of Licensure and Certification followed a state report that says staff at the Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital knew the alleged attacker was prone to violence but failed to prevent the attack.
