Defending The Caveman, Las Vegas – by Robby LeBlanc
I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants!

Kevin Burke stars as the narrator for this one man show
“Defending The Cavemen”  at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas.

I had heard about this show for a few years but never got around to attending until Saturday night. I am so glad we went.

A friend called me and said she had 4 tickets for “Defending The Caveman”
show and wanted to know if I was interested. I asked if it was family friendly and she said it was great for couples. I thought great. My parents are in town so Vickie and I would take them to the show.

You’ve seen him on Oprah, America’s Funniest People…
Funny man/Comedian Kevin Burke walks out on the stage, his living room, and starts to tell the story of man and woman. Bottom line men are hunters and women are gathers. What I like about Kevin Burke is, he reminds me of the guy next door you’d have a beer with and he’d tell a few funny stories. I felt like I was in his living room, having a beer while he told the funny story of Man and Woman.

Yes, men and women are different. The way we shop, the way we eat, the way we interact with our friends. Men and women are different. Kevin hits on many topics including sex! Yes, men and women want different things!

At one point during the show I was laughing so hard I could not breath. I looked up at my dad and he was laughing right along with me.

You know, laughing is good for you. Laughing with those you love is even better. This past year has been a pretty challenging year and to have the love of my life, Vickie Pieper my dad and his new bride all together laughing, giggling and high fiving each other during a show is a beautiful thing. What a great memory to have.

Kevin Burke, “Thank You” for putting on such a great show. We laughed. We cried. Then laughed some more. We continued to talk, laugh and cry about the show the next day!

I would say this show is probably best suited for couples, but funny is funny, and Kevin Burke is funny.Guys, this is a good date night date. Ladies, bring your man whether he wants to go or not. Make him have fun with you! You’ll be glad you did.

Show times are 3 p.m. daily with additional Friday and Saturday evening performances at 7 p.m. Tickets for the 3 p.m. show are $34.95 for day show and $39.95 for evening shows. Guests must be 13 years of age or older to attend. For reservations call  (702) 597-7600
