What a Crock of…!

Now that the Democrats have pushed thru the first health care reform in 60 years the Republicans are pissed! They seem to fighting harder now than ever.

My question is…Why?
Why fight now?

Is it because Obama got a bill thru congress that no other President has been able to achieve? Is it because the Republicans lost?

Why???

I am a registered Repubulican but voted for Obama. Yes I wanted change. Yes I wanted things to be different in Washington.

Yes – Yes- Yes!

My first question to the Republicans is, how many of you have read the entire bill? As we all know, probably very few. As a matter of fact, probably very few Democrats have read it.

Getting back to the Republicans…
I am so ticked because if they put up this kind of fight when both Bush presidents were in office maybe, just maybe, they could have been the ones to create the much needed change in our health care system.

Now they are all crying foul play. Yes, they are saying, we know we need a change in our health care system. It’s not fair, bla,bla bla.

The real fact is, very few people have actually read the entire health care reform bill but both the democrats and republicans are offering sound bites like they are facts!

This too ticks me off.

Anyway, I just wish both parties would do what’s right for the people instead of what is right for their next election. I wrote a letter to all the members of congress about how I think they should handle Healthcare Reform.

Harry Reid was the only one that took the time to write me back!

Here is what I suggested:
I suggested that all congressman stop using their present health insurance that they have been given as a benefit for one year. Pay out of pocket. With their own cash. Then at the end of the year come back, sit down and create a healthcare plan that think would be best for the people.

Some of you may hate me for what I have written. Some may love me. Whatever the case, I just want our politicians to do whats right for the people. This healthcare problem is not a Republican or Democratic problem, it’s an American problem. They need to drop the polictics and get down to business for the people! What a thought!

Like it or not Obama got a Healthcare Reform bill thru congress for the first time in over 60 years.

Don’t blame Obama, because he just did what he said he was going to do.
Don’t blame me because I have been listening to the same false sounds bites as everybody else. Blame all those politicians that didn’t fight hard enough when they should have and could have!

If they spent more time working for the people versus fundraising, maybe something great could have been developed by both parties!

With That in Mind…Have a Great Weekend!
