Try to get contact information for anyone who was involved in or witnessed your wreck. Get as much information as possible.
1. Get the insurance information for the other parties involved. Make sure you copy it directly off of their insurance card.

2. Draw a diagram or write a detailed description of the car wreck. Don’t rely on your memory to recall the details of the accident. Memories fade.

3.  Talk to the police. Get a copy of the police report, but don’t rely on the police to get all the information. Read more
