Carlos Santana at House of Blues Las VegasStarting November 5, 2014 into 2015, the legendary guitarist and band leader, Carlos Santana returns to the House of Blues Las Vegas for 15 concert dates. It’s obvious that Carlos Santana likes Las Vegas and Las Vegas LOVES Carlos Santana!

Satana’s big break into the international stage started at Woodstock in 1969. Their 11 minute version of “ Soul Sacrifice” put them on the map.

Santana, a Mexican and American musician was the first to combine Rock and Latin American music in a single genre. Mix that with melodic blues based guitar riffs, African rhythms featuring timbales and congas and you get SANTANA!

The Wolf of Wall Street a Big Disappointment!

MOVIE REVIEW: THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
Martin Scorses’s recent movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street” is based on the true story of the rise and fall of stockbroker Jordan Belfort. His rise to a wealthy stockbroker to his fall involving excessive DRUGS, SEX, Crime, Corruption and the Federal Government.

Director: Martin Scorsese
Writers: Terence Winter (screenplay), Based on the Book by Jordan Belfort
MAIN Stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie

I Was Disappointed With “The Wolf of Wall Street”. I Expect More From Scorsese and DiCaprio.

Martin Scorses’s latest movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” movie is not for everyone. It attempts to tell the story of stockbroker Jordan Belfort. As the movie story line shares, Excessive DRUGS,SEX, and LYING. Rinse and Repeat! BORING!

The movie is border line X rated. Explicit T & A is splashed throughout the entire movie. If you want to see DiCaprio naked, snorting coke off a womens naked butt and doing the nasty, this is your movie. I don’t mind T&A here and there if it truly moves the story forward, but not every other scene!

If Scorsese wants to make a porn movie, go for it! But don’t dress it up as a life story of stockbroker gone excess.

I think movies like “Boiler Room” and “Wall Street” did a much better job telling and sharing a story of another EXTREME EXCESS Wallstreet guy gone bad.

I heard the movie was originally 4 hours and they cut it down to 3 hours. I stayed because I kept thinking the movie was going to get better. The fact is, I couldn’t wait for it to end.

If EXCESSIVE VISUAL SEX, DRUGS, F BOMBS and LYING with DiCaprio is your thing, you will LOVE this movie.

I Give This Movie 2 Thumbs Down!

See Ya At The Movies!

The Best Movie Deal in Las Vegas! Dollar Tuesdays!!!

The Regency Theatre on Tropicana in Las Vegas is hands down the “BEST MOVIE DEAL” in town, period!

Tickets are $1.50 every night accept on Tuesday when prices drop to a BUCK! Yes, $1 Dollar Tuesday Night Movie Tickets!

At a time when movie tickets in Las Vegas range from $8.50 to $20, paying $1.50 for a movie ticket at the Tropicana Theatre is a GIFT!

Tropicana Cinemas 3330 East Tropicana Las Vegas, NV. 89121 (702) 438-3456

I have been in Las Vegas since 1998 and have been going to this theatre since 2001. As long as I have been here, this specific theatre has always been a low priced movie ticket. It started to get a bit run down and we stopped going for a few years.

Then a while back Regency Theatre’s took control and cleaned it up a bit. It is by no means a 5 star movie house. However, you can get a movie ticket and a hot dog for $2 bucks! This is unheard of in this industry.

A friend of mine from Warner Brothers told me years ago, the money in movies are in the Popcorn, Candy and Soda. Yes, hotdogs are only $1 dollar and the soda, candy and popcorn are priced higher but this is still the BEST MOVIE Deal in Las Vegas!

Granted, the movies that show at this theatre are not opening week movie premieres. They are usually 3-6 weeks after they have already premiered at the local theatres on the Las Vegas strip. Some people may think that stinks, but I think it’s AWESOME! You get top rated movies ,but just a little after they have premiered. Read more

How to Really Break Even in Las Vegas…

This article is for my friends from around the world that are planning on visiting the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas!

If you’re thinking about a Las Vegas Vacation you are probably thinking about casinos. Most people who have ever gambled harbor no fantasies of striking it rich when going and playing in casinos. Most of us know the ultimate goal is to go in, play a while, have some fun, get some comps, and go home with about what you walked in with.

Many who gamble on a regular basis know to… Read more
