The Jay Cutler Desert Classic 2012,at The Palms Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada April 7, 2012 Was AWESOME!

The past year and a half I’ve lost 80 pounds and still have another 100 pounds to go.So in turn, I LOVE covering sporting events that require Discipline, Training, Skill and a Dedication to Excellence!

The Jay Cutler Desert Classic 2012 Was My First Body Building and Figure Competition. Quite frankly, my intention was to go cover a few friends from my gym for about 15 minutes, take about 20 photos and then writer a post about the event.

It was Patty White, one of the 1st place WINNERS that first told me about the event a few weeks ago as we were on the TREADMILL side by side. Then Thomas Lopez, from KING Training who trains Jeanie Lyons also said his gal would be competing. I wanted to support Patty White, Thomas Lopez and Jeanie Lyons.

So instead of being there for only 15 – 20 minutes, I was there for FIVE Hours!

I had to leave to go cover the Tuff-N-Uff fights so I missed the finals of this Jay Cutler Classic.

It was exciting, thrilling, and INSPIRING! Even though this was an amateur competition, there were some INCREDIBLE bodies, Men and Women! I really appreciate the work and dedication each of these athletes had to go through, to even enter into this event. It takes a HUGE commitment to get ones body into the shape to compete even at the amateur level.

jay cutler desert classic 2012It takes COURAGE to get up on a stage and do your thing, be it music, comedy or body building. Because this was my first body building event, I didn’t know the vocabulary of this sport or other details.jay cutler desert classic 2012

If I had one comment to offer to the competitors...Take Your time With Your POSE’S. I want to get the BEST Photo of YOU possible and in order to do that just take your time a bit. Give each pose a good couple of seconds.

Give me and the entire audience and the judges time to see ALL YOUR HARD WORK!

Besides that, CONGRATULATIONS! You all did a GREAT Job!

You INSPIRED me personally to work harder and to get my body into better shape and condition FASTER. Thank you for all your Consistent and Dedicated Work! YOU ROCK!

    4. This hole thing with the bikini is very sexiest and disrespectful to woman!! They are not wear a swimsuit they’re wearing thongs and sticking their ass’es out like come and f– me. Woman who are in the audiance have to hear what the men are saying about what their seeing on stage!!! The way they pose with their legs apart shows the lining of there cooch. Please don’t get me wrong these ladies have great body but there being looked at like sexual object on stage ….
