Screen Shot 2016-04-01 at 12.08.02 PMJon Jones Is A Great Fighter. However…

However, Jones he still has some growing up to do. He just got arrested this week and received 5 tickets from the police. At this point in his life, and specifically because of his Hit and Run incident September 2015 that landed him with 18 month probation and 76 hours of community service, he should’ve learned a few things:

1. Yes, people and police are watching you and probably holding you to a higher standard. Is that fair? No! But life isn’t fair.
2. If you get pulled over by the police for WHATEVER REASON, yes ask what the charge is. Evaluate if it’s true or not. If it’s not true, it doesn’t not serve YOU or your cause in any way to SWEAR, TALK CRAP and or ARGUE with the police officer.

You have money and you have an attorney. Don’t argue with the police, let your attorney do your arguing.

I saw all the MMA fighter posts on twitter saying how the police officer was wrong. The fact is, there are only two people that know EXACTLY what happened that night, Jon Jones and that police officer. Additionally, they can have contradictory stories and yet in each other’s eyes, still tell the truth. Each have a personal perspective.

Additionally, what that policer officer said and did is all about the police officer. How Jon Jones reacted to that police officer is ALL ABOUT JON JONES.

CHECK THIS OUT:
September 2015
– Jon Jones is arrested for a hit-and-run charge. The Bernalillo County judge said, Jones had to complete 18 months of probation and 76 appearances of community service.

January 2016 – Jones was given another ticket for driving:
* Without a license.
* Without registration and
* Without proof of insurance.

March 2016 – Jones arrested for Probation violation and got 5 tickets in the process. Not 1 ticket but 5 tickets!

What surprised me AGAIN, is the judge let Jon out of jail, and said it was ok to fight i a few weeks. What’s the point of probation if it is not going to be enforced? Do you see the pattern?

I was glad to see online this morning Dana White expressed he was disappointed with how Jon Jones handled the police interaction. AND, it will not effect the upcoming fight April 23 with Cormier.

JON JONES GETS A PASS AT EVERY TURN.
A PASS from judge #1 for September 2015. Easy sentence.
A PASS from judge #2 for driving without a license, insurance or registration.
A PASS FROM Judge #3 for violating his probation, again. Plus 5 tickets.

Why? WHY DOES JON JONES GET A PASS after PASS after PASS? Easy. Because he’s a money machine.

Where are Jon Jones’s REAL FRIENDS? Not his YES men, but his real friends?

I think DANA WHITE said it best in a recent interview on TMZ Sports.
“I don’t think Jon Jones is ever going to be the Jon Jones that people expect him to be, Jon is gonna do Jon.”

Ok, so now Jones has to take to anger management course, driver improvement class, and can’t drive unless he gets the OK from his probation officer. Plus, Jon has to do an additional 60 hours of community service from which he already completed 76 appearances from his Hit and Run.

MORE COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR JON JONES:
This is only my opinion, but I think him going to talk with the kids as community service was the easiest part for him. If Jon went to rehab and stayed there for 30-60 days he would’ve learned some valuable insights about himself and he could’ve shared what he learned with the kids. Jon left rehab after 1 day.

When he talked with the kids he probably said something like the following…Kids don’t drink and drive. Kids, if you get in an accident don’t drive away. And most importantly, don’t argue and swear at the police like I did if they pull you over. Then again kids, WINK,WINK,WINK… They let me out of jail after violating my parole and they are letting me fight in April against Cormier. Life is good!

GREAT! Sounds like the lesson NOT TO Teach our kids. If you are famous, the will not hold you accountable.

Some of you may think I am a Jon Jones hater. For the record I am a fan, a fan of his athletic ability. Over the years we have all seen to many Talented Athletes, Musicians, Actors and gifted people in general die to early because they didn’t get the help they needed and had to many YES Men in there life. Plus, NO ONE held them accountable when accountability was rightly needed.

UFC Champion Daniel Cormier said on the night he won the Title Belt, “Jon Jones Get Your Shit Together, I’m waiting for you.”

It looks like CORMIER vs JONES will be fighting April 23rd , but Jones still has a ways to go before he even remotely has his shit together,.

For the record I am also a big Daniel Cormier Fan and I’m picking Cormier to beat Jon Jones.
1. It will be great for Cormier .
2. It would also be great for JONES because it just may take a loss in the cage from DC to take a good hard look at himself, his choices, and the role he plays in the chaos in his life.

When competitors win they tend to party. When they lose, they tend to ponder.

FINAL NOTE:
Consider this Jon Jones, these challenging issues that you have been experiencing did not happen to you,they are happening for you. Think about that for a moment. They are happening for you. Now it’s your job to figure out the why. Jon there are alot of people pulling and praying for you and I’m one of them. In the words of Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones get your shit together. Peace…

I look forward to any comments you may have.

Never Give Up!

PS – Now I am off to the WSOF30  Weigh-ins at the Hard Rock.
