TUFF-N-UFF Founders Jeff Meyer and Barry Meyer “Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” Honors Founder Barry Meyer on June 27 With Annual “Pack the Mack” FREE Fight Card

PRESS RELEASE: Event set to benefit American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

LAS VEGAS – “Tuff-N-Uff: The Future Stars of MMA” will once again look to “Pack the Mack,” as mixed martial arts’ premier amateur organization takes over Las Vegas’ Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday, June 27, for a completely free night of high-paced action featuring a full roster of the brightest prospects in MMA.

The annual event will honor the legacy of Tuff-N-Uff founder Barry Meyer, who in 2013 lost his battle with depression. With his memory in mind, Tuff-N-Uff has partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and will raise funds for the organization at the “Pack the Mack” event, while also hoping to increase awareness of the AFSP’s fight against suicide.

“Anyone who has ever attended a Tuff-N-Uff event knows how much Barry meant to not only this promotion, but also the lives of each and every person who ever competed in our cage,” Tuff-N-UFF CEO – and Barry’s brother – Jeff Meyer said. “On average, one person dies by suicide every 16 hours in the state of Nevada. We’re committed to supporting the AFSP’s life-saving work, and we hope this incredible annual event can be a flagship component of our efforts.”

Tickets for the June 27 event are free of charge as Tuff-N-Uff officials hope to fill the legendary multi-purpose venue for an absolutely loaded fight card that will feature an incredible six championship contests.

In addition to the in-cage action, there will be raffles and giveaways for one-of-a-kind MMA memorabilia pieces throughout the night, while American Foundation for Suicide Prevention officials will also be on hand to accept donations and to assist in honoring individuals who have been impacted by the sixth leading cause of death in Nevada.

The first Tuff-N-Uff fight is at 6 p.m. PT local time, and doors to the venue open 30 minutes earlier.

In addition to the night’s featured contests, “Tuff-N-Uff: Pack the Mack” will feature a full lineup of top amateur talent from Las Vegas and around the nation. Fight camps represented on Tuff-N-Uff cards often include American Kickboxing Academy, Carlson Gracie, Drysdale Jiu-Jitsu, Pit MMA, One Kick’s Gym, Torres MMA, Syndicate MMA, multiple UFC Gyms, Wand Fight Team and Xtreme Couture, among others.

Fans can obtain free tickets to this event by going to www.unlvtickets.com, visiting the Thomas & Mack Center box office, UNLVtickets outlets Town Square Las Vegas and La Bonita Supermarkets, or by calling 702-739-FANS.
