Video Recap of the TUFF-N-UFF WINNERS From June 25, 2016

UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta with Pancrease MMA Japan CEO Mr. Sakai ringside at recent TUFF-N-UFFTUFF-N-UFF MMA Celebrated Their 20th Anniversary June 25, 2016 At The Thomas And Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The theme was “PACK THE MACK” to honor the co-founder, the late Barry Meyer, and pack the mack we did! I’m not sure of the numbers but I’m sure it was close to 15,000 or more attendees. I have been covering TUFF-N-UFF since 2010. For me, this was the most exciting TUFF-N-UFF fight card I have ever seen.

The night included KNOCKOUTS, Submissions, and VERY close Decisions! The fight announcers were UFC Champions Frank Mir and Forrest Griffin. It was a STAR studded night with ringside attendees which included UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, UFC Champ Miesha Tate, UFC’s Heather Clark, WSOF President Ray Sefo, Master MMA Coach Robert Follis and not to mention a number of the cast member from the present Ultimate Fighter TV show.

John Wood, Head Coach at Syndicate MMA Talks TUF 23

Jamie Moyle is One Of His Fighters...

MMA Fighter Jamie Moyle With Her Corner TEAM After TUFF-N-UFF WIN in 2014The Ultimate Fighter 23, Episode 7 Featured Our Very Own Local Las Vegas Fighter Jamie Moyle.

The first time I saw Jamie Moyle fight was for the Tuff-N-Uff promotion back in 2014 in Las Vegas. I remember thinking one day this girl is going to be a champion!

This past Wedensday, June 1, 2016 on TUF 23 Jamie Moyle was fighting Amanda Cooper. In my eyes, Jamie clearly had the first round, and found the 2nd round to be split. I thought for sure a 3rd round was coming. Then they announced the fight was over and announced Amanda Cooper the winner, I was in shock. I have nothing against Cooper, it was a great scrap, but you will find few viewers that didn’t think a 3rd round was coming.

I was shaking my head thinking how is this possible. Then the episode cut to Dana White saying, “ there should’ve been a 3rd Round”. Thursday morning I picked up the phone and called Syndicate MMA Head coach John Wood and asked for an interview to talk about his fighter Jamie Moyle..

A Conversation with UFC’s Bryan Caraway

It's Bryan Caraway's Time For a Title Shot!

Meisha Tate and Bryan CarawayUFC Fighter Bryan Caraway is Hopeful a WIN Over Aljamain Sterling Sunday, May 29, 2016 Will Earn Him a Title Shot!

Make no mistake, this is going to be an exciting fight. With Sterling coming into the fight with a 12-0 record, is presently ranked 4th in the batamweight division. Caraway with a record of 20-8-0 is ranked 8th.

You may know Bryan Caraway from his stint on “ The Ultimate Fighter 14”. He came into the TUF competition with close to 30 fights under his belt. And since TUF 14,  he has put together  a respectable 5-2 record with UFC.

I recently had a insightful conversation with Bryan at his training facility, Xtreme Couture MMA in Las Vegas. And apparently, his opponenet, Aljamain Sterling has been talking crap about Bryan via twitter. As Bryan shared, “ I think it’s going to bite him in the butt!”

Caraway acknowledged that they have similar styles, but added, “I’ve got more experience.” Ask any Musician, Comedian, or Public Speaker, and they will tell you, nothing, absoulutely nothing can replace Stage Time (LIVE EXPERIENCE).

Click To Watch This Video Interview: This is just 4 minutes from a 20 minute interview.

So when Bryan said “I’ve got more experience”, this is no joke. He has logged over 40 fights in his career and 85% of all his wins were by SUBMISSION! You can’t get that kind of grappling experience and mastery without a lot of LIVE FIGHT experience. LIVE Fights give you experience you can not get in the gym.

As  we were chatting, I got this strong feeling about Bryan…It hit me. This is Bryan Caraway’s time. This is his time to make the comitted run and CAPTURE the UFC Batamweight Championship Belt! Yes Sterling is young, strong and scrappy, but when it’s your time, NOTHING CAN STOP YOU!

Caraway shared that for his first  30 fights he got so nervous he would throw up before the match.

Guess What? Bryan’s not throwing up any more, he has learned to discipline that emtion.
Now, he’s KICKING ASS!
