Las Vegas, NV – It’s here: the “Rock Star Rivalry” of Sports has arrived in Las Vegas! The long-awaited Arena Football home-game between The Outlaws and the L.A. Kiss will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center tonight, and with it comes a trio of legendary musicians that make up the rivalry itself: Vince Neil of Motley Crue, and Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS.
“When I started this Arena Football team last year, I told the coaches, the players, and the league that the whole point of this is to beat the L.A. Kiss,” said Vince Neil. “As long as we win this game, everyone gets to keep their job, and we get to take home the Dollar Loan Center Rivalry Trophy. It’s going to be a crazy night. Gene, Paul and I will be in the stands, cheering with the fans and watching the big game go down.”

OUTLAWS Senior VP Patrick Dees Talks Open Tryout
In One Week March 30, 2015, The (NEW) Las Vegas OUTLAWS Will Be Taking The Field At The Thomas & Mack Center at 7:30 PM!
This past Saturday, I had the chance to stop by the OPEN TRYOUT for our Las Vegas OUTLAWS. Coach Aaron Garcia was looking for a second kicker and really wanted to give the opportunity to a local. I got to practice a bit early but there was NO SHORTAGE of kickers wanting a spot on the TEAM. It looked like 20-30 guys were ready to fight for this ONE SPOT!
From what I witnessed, there were a good number of kickers that were kicking accurately AND long! I’m glad I didn’t have to vote!
I had a chance to have a brief conversation with the OUTLAWS Senior VP Patrick Dees. He shared what this OUTLAWS Open Tryout was all about. They were looking for One New TEAM Member. By the end of the day, they had picked the WINNER, Ali Maurtada. I have footage of the winner in the video below. At the time of filming, I did not know he was the WINNER, but he looked good to me, so I took photos and filmed him.

Motley Crue Frontman, Vince Neil is one of the OUTLAWS Team Owners. When I talked with Vince last week, he was very enthusiastic and excited for this TEAM. Vince will be attending the first 3 or 4 games.

Thanks to the Rock & Roll GIANT, Motley Crue Frontman, Vince Neil, Arena Football is back in Las Vegas! And I think Las Vegas is going to ABSOLUTELY Love it!
I caught up with Head Coach Aaron Garcia during a recent “Outlaws” open workout. Garcia, a legend within the arena football game for over 19 years is very excited about leading this team. This is his first year as a head coach and wants to pass on the things he’s learned to the new and younger players.
As he states during this interview, “ This style of Football, High Scoring, Fast Paced and Always Exciting”. I really like coach Garcia and wish him GREAT SUCCESS!
