Jump Off Planet Hollywood October 12-13
For adrenaline junkies looking for a little adventure, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is offering the opportunity to rappel more than 300 feet from the hotel’s rooftop for “Over the Edge,” a fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics Nevada. The preview is Friday October 12th and people start rappeling on Saturday October 13, 2012.
Special Olympics Nevada is a free year-round sports training and competition program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. More than 3,000 athletes compete in 19 competitions throughout the region in 8 sports. This requires the extraordinary support and time of 3,243 volunteers and volunteer coaches. Financial support comes almost exclusively from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations.
