The following interview with UFC Coach Greg Jackson took place at the South Point Hotel Casino July 5, 2013 after the Tuff Nuff fights. Greg Jackson was sitting ring side.


LVNB:
How are you sir?
GJ: I’m doing great

LVNB: As soon as I saw you, I wanted to talk to about the new show the Fight Masters.

LVNB: How did you get involved with that?
GJ: Bior came to me and asked me if I wanted to do it and after some talking I agreed.

LVNB: Now we’re in week 3. What are a couple of things you are learning from this experience?
GJ: It’s really cool to get to know the coached a lot better and see the level of talent with the fighters.
Both of those things are really interesting to me and I’m learning a lot.

LVNB: At this point is everything already filmed?
GJ: Yes, it’s done, in the cann.

LVNB: So there’s nothing you can tell us now?
GJ: NO! You’ll have to watch and find out.

LVNB: So who do you have fighting tomorrow night? you’re in town for UFC tomorrow night, who do you have fighting?
GJ: Tim Kennedy and Cub Swanson. Both of those guys, I’ll be in there corner and routing them on.

LVNB: After the fights this weekend at UFC are you in UFC 163?
GJ: I’m in every one from now till I die.

LVNB: Outside of UFC or MMA. what do you do to relax and have fun?
CJ: My hobby outside of hanging out with my family is, I go to old ghost towns. I find ghost towns throughout New Mexico
and Colorado. Research them, visit them and have a great time and adventure.

LVNB: One more question. If as guy was up and coming and wanted to become a fighter, what are one or two tips you
would have for someone that is up and coming?
GJ: Stay disciplined. As you get more successful, make sure that you, don’t forgot to love learning. Stay curious.
